Welcome Bella

Bella Marie Langford
Jan. 16th, 2010*
9lb 3oz --19 1/2 inches
Kampala, Uganda, East Africa

Big brother, Eli and Kym...the Mom!

True sweetness!
So maybe she was 10 days late,
but 6 hrs labor and 3 pushes is a lot to brag about.
Also had her 1st taxi cab ride at 10 hrs old.

Don't know if she will ever compete with
big brother, Noah's, expressions...but
she will give him lots more and better
expressions in years to come.
And Ben will never be the same.

* my "comfort thought" about Bella's birthday
is that Adam wanted smiles and sweetness
to be the focus of this day...besides all the stuff
that he left us to smile about. I just hate that
he left us, but will honor this "comfort thought"

I think he would want us to tell Bella that she
came just at the right time to fill our hearts
with extra love...from Adam.

Maybe I seem crazy...:) but I have many
"comfort thoughts" lately and may share
some later. For now, welcome Bella, you
are a blessing from God and you touch our
hearts and make us smile.

11. Watching you hold your children for the 1st time...they had your heart.
12. The hot-air balloon ride.
13. Hearing you talk like Donald Duck to Morgandy

Wish I could fix it....

I over heard this conversation recently between a lady & the person she was pushing in a wheelchair...
"You just have to decide to be happy."
"I know, I just wish I could live with someone I know."
"Well, I found two extra Christmas gifts that I am going to give you."

My heart hurt so much for both of them, wish I could fix it.

Today, I heard that a young man at church, is leaving his wife and 3 children(under 5), to spend a year in Iraq.

Wish I could fix it.

When life keeps bucking loved ones and times are hard.

Wish I could fix it.

What I CAN FIX...

A heart of gratitude that God is in control, and I can petition HIS love and peace in all situations.
And show my love and concern when possible.
