Appointment Problems...

...or is it me?

So in the previous post, I stressed over the Dr. appt, that I might miss again, since I missed it last week. Well, I didn't forget, just came in 24 hrs early, but they saw me anyway.

So I'm setting my phone right now for the appt 3 mo. from now.

Another problem is that goggle won't accept my password to blog pictures...any suggestions!

It's The Little Things

Do you notice the little things that catch you off guard?
This month spring has sprung and so has the little things that show love.

Last week I missed 1 of 3 Dr. appointments. Even when Marcus played the phone message reminder, for the Mon a.m. appt., I had already decided that it was on Wed. I checked Mon. afternoon for the time, and saw that it had been for Mon. a.m. So all week, I've stressed that I would miss it again today, and told Marcus he had to remind me, even though he was going to be at work.
90 seconds after I dropped him off for work, he called to remind me of my 8:30 appt.
It's the little things!

Yesterday, I was not happy that my hair didn't look like the beautician fixed it...so said that when I win the lottery , (never buy a ticket) I would have someone fix my hair for me....(to thick, takes forever to dry)
Last night we left the grocery store, but Marcus went right back in and bought me a lottery ticket.
It's the little things!

After a long hard week, Marcus played golf Sat a.m., and then returned to make plans to be with me for the afternoon. I was expecting a lazy day, but he wanted to take me to a movie and out to eat. "I want to do something you enjoy."
It's the little things!

He went in to pick up my prescription, but they were closed, so I got a box of candy.
It's the little things!

He tried hard to fix my washing machine. Then bought a new washer and dryer.
Not such a little thing!

As I observe him indoor sky-diving, he flies (or floats) to the window and blows me a kiss.
It's the little things!

He helps find a number when I'm stumped at Sudoku.
It's the little things!

Thanks Marc... the little things are huge & love you!

It's just lotion

I'm setting in bed, reading and have just applied lotion. No big deal...but then I recall that night as a college student. I was ready for bed, and reading a magazine, when our R.A. came to the door and had all of us report to the Dorm Mothers apartment. I stood in line and waited as each girl was ask to put their hands under a black light. How annoying, I thought, but waited my turn, so I could return to our room. Not paying much attention, I let them see my hands and was ready to leave, but they wanted a second look. Yep! There was some writing on my freshly clean & lotioned hands. At 1st, I was just as surprised as they were, for they were looking for the theft that had stolen planted money. They thought they had caught her or me. After the shock of be a suspect, I realized that lotion, magazines and black lights are a bad combination in that situation. But I was able to give more evidence of the magazine print being on my lotioned legs.
Not one of those fun college experiences, although it was funny. When enquiring friends wanted to know, I would say , "It's just lotioned hands thumbing thru a magazine."

A. D.D. pictures

I really miss the real games at
Minute Maid Park...

but in spring training, by the 7th inning,
players run/walk
the outfield while the game is still going.
A family nearby had a long
discussions about this bird...eagle
or what??? There were 4 huge nest,
on the light poles.
This looked like a good idea, around
the 8th inning.

just plain pretty!

something else...
Norris is an Astro pitcher, and I noticed
that as he approached the pitchers mound,
he wrote something in the dirt with his finger
and then said a prayer... just curious what he wrote.

Playing on the Roof

At the end of the day, Marcus decided to
clean the roof. My job is to watch, so he
doesn't fall.

The roof isn't much of a challenge...
but the screen cover is a mess...so

just get the pool broom, and walk the
frame work.
I kept all my fussy thought to myself,
but Marc claimed that he hear them
loud and clear. He did not!
I tried using the pool net to get the
floating pollen junk out of the pool.
But Marc found that an old window
screen did the trick much faster.
He's hired as my pool boy!

Training field.

Left field fouls...come to me!

Even the bases were green....what a fun
time, but it ended in a tie.

Extreme diving

Alex was here for a few days...
And indoor skydiving is always
a treat for these two guys.

They both do this with such ease!
Marcus prefers sitting in the air.

The wind blown look!

It was a short but sweet
visit.

All in a Day!

One week ago, we were in Montreal Canada

But, by 5pm Marcus is pitching for the YMCA
softball team in Orlando.
Opps! A line drive did this to his watch!
And this to his wrist.....
so, off we go to the E.R. (after a good meal)
No major damage.
All in a day!

"No! I do It!...

I am a slow learner! So, Morgandy reminded
me several times, that she did not need
my help!

"No Gee, I sing to bunny!"

No, Gee, I read the book!"

"I dress myself!"

It's so much fun watching this little one
become independent...love it!

The Answer is....

Gee (Grams) & Papa

We met Patrick, Myra & Morgandy
in Montreal Canada this past week-end.

What a delight to have this sweet girl
pull at our heart strings!

Here she is at a amazing resturant,
It has been featured on one of the food shows
and the food was classic...(I know I'm not doing
it justice, but I had better things on my mind)

What a treat to see how much this sweet
girl loves her Papa...they had some special
times together.

She knows where she is allowed to run,
where the area is free of people, here in
the underground mall/metro area.

A carriage ride in Old Montreal, with
Silver, was another week-end adventure.

After these outings and more, her Mom
ask, "Morgandy, what is your favorite part
of this trip?"

"Gee & Papa!" she replied.

I bet you know what our answer is, also!
