Wish I could fix it....

I over heard this conversation recently between a lady & the person she was pushing in a wheelchair...
"You just have to decide to be happy."
"I know, I just wish I could live with someone I know."
"Well, I found two extra Christmas gifts that I am going to give you."

My heart hurt so much for both of them, wish I could fix it.

Today, I heard that a young man at church, is leaving his wife and 3 children(under 5), to spend a year in Iraq.

Wish I could fix it.

When life keeps bucking loved ones and times are hard.

Wish I could fix it.

What I CAN FIX...

A heart of gratitude that God is in control, and I can petition HIS love and peace in all situations.
And show my love and concern when possible.

When she senses that
something may be wrong, you might
hear her say...
"Remember, God made you to be happy!"
I love her sweet compliments, such as,
"Oh Grams, that is so nice of you."

Not sure about preforming at Preschool

My Mom....

Mom known as Grando with Lana

Mom has been here for a visit and
is has been a joy to hear the funny stories she
retells. I will someday write them down, cause
they are a connection to the past.
Recently I mentioned that homeowners insurance
can be difficult to get in this area, for new homeowners.

She recalled their insurance agent calling Dad to
ask about the wiring in their old home.
Dad's response, "It was wired the same year Joan (Mom)
was born, and I will replace it when I see that she needs
re-wiring."

I wish we could have her legs rewired, she struggles to
stand...that is hard to watch.
