Sunny in Dodgertown

Astro's - 12
Dodgers - 10

A nail-biting win, in Vero Beach...where we were taking advantage of seeing the Astro's play.
This is the last Spring Training season for the Dodgers in Fl, as they will relocate to Arizona next spring.
There stadium provides shade with some randomly placed trees at the top of the stadium.
However, we roasted in the sunshine, even burned through my jeans.
Even the players sat in sun-dredged dug-outs, with wet towels over their heads.
What I loved about the Dodger fans... they shamed adults (who caught balls) until they handed the ball to a child.

Along with a pencil topper for our Cracker Jack prize, the following fact was added...

"A typical pencil can write 45,000 words or draw a line 35 miles long." Who takes time to figure that out. If true, that is very impressive. Wonder what percent of people use a pencil to the end?

Now off to buy a bottle of sun-block for each car and my purse and get a big sun bonnet (well, maybe not)
